Four top police officers killed in Mumbai attacks in mysterious circumstances.

Four top police officers were killed in Mumbai attacks in mysterious circumstances. Among them was a leading investigator, investigating Lt Colonel Srikant Purohit's of the Indian military's case. Purohit was reportedly involved in several past blasts in India.

The Indian police officer was the chief of Anti-Terrorism Squad Maharashtra ATS, Hemant Karkare, who was heading investigations into several recent cases of terrorist attacks, was also killed even before gunbattle started.

Two Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, Additional Police Commissioners Ashok Kamte and Sadanand Date  (please see the attach news report http://ibnlive.in.com/news/mumbai-police-under-fire-for-killing-gunman/76860-3.html)  and Mumbai Police 'Encounter Specialist', Vijay Salaskar were killed in gunbattles following series of attacks in India’s financial capital, police officials said. They all  were killed in separate, unexplained incidents.

Sananand was accused of firing shots and chanting slogans against Navnirman Seva (MNS) leader Raj Thackeray a few day before his death.
